IDU CONNECT User Conference 2024 – our first in person conference since the world pressed pause and we learned to stay connected in new and unexpected ways. The challenges of the past have taught us resilience, adaptability, and collaboration. Here's to forging new connections, rekindling old ones, and collectively shaping the path ahead.

CONNECT with Community at Registration
We are delighted to have the Isibane se Afrika choir performing during registration.
Founded in Khayelitsha by Andisiwe Gaqa, the choir gets local youth off the streets and gives them the chance to belong to something positive and up-lifting.
Isibane se Africa is a registered NGO, and they use the funds raised through their performances to uplift the local community in Khayelitsha.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us for help.
IDU and/or the conference organisers shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damages to private property of registered delegates of the conference. Delegates should make their own arrangement in respect of personal insurance.
Privacy Policy: The information collected during registration will be used by IDU for conference planning purposes. This information may be shared with the event sponsor. IDU will take photos at the event, which will be used to promote future events and on social media posts about the conference.

Nerushka Bowan
Nerushka Bowan is the founder of the LITT Institute and an AI, tech & privacy law expert. Nerushka uses her unique experience and forward looking mindset to identify future risks and ask the legal and ethical questions brought about by emerging technology, such as artificial intelligence, robotics and blockchain.
Chris Badenhorst
As the Strategic Lead for Azure at Braintree, Chris Badenhorst manages the cloud adoption and technical strategy for his clients. He also takes part in business development, client relations, and partnership building and is enthusiastic about the cloud and the new era of AI that cloud adoption can bring to customers.
Steven Powell
Steven Powell is head of ENSafrica's forensics practice. He is a renowned specialist white-collar crime prosecutor and forensics lawyer. Steven specialises in leading forensic investigations that result in successful disciplinary and criminal proceedings against offenders, as well as the recovery of loss in both civil and criminal matters.
Ndumiso Hadebe
Ndumiso Hadebe is an award-winning Economist and CEO at KH Research Equity Partners. He has extensive experience in the areas of macroeconomic research and strategy development, M&A, corporate governance, trade and investment promotion, facilitation, and aftercare.
